Kept you waiting, huh?

We're back from HolMat and AWA with updates on Mint's Spooky Haunting Declaration birthday merch! Thanks for ordering, and here's an update on how it's going.

tl;dr - everything's on track except for T-Shirts, which means those and therefore the bundles are delayed into February. Growing pains!

This is a slightly differently formatted version of the update email we sent to everyone that ordered.

🟢40cm Plushie - OK

We diverted 1 plushie from the first production run for inspection, and everything seems okay! We also got one to take meme photos of a final production model to tide you over until we ship these out.

We're proud of zero delays here because this was the most complex thing to arrange of all of the birthday merch.

🟡Aiboo Slippers - On time, design now finalized!

Somewhat less puffy than we'd originally envisioned, but hey! They're from the same manufacturer as the official Teletubbies slippers!

As you can see, the sample product shown here has some differences from our design image. Things like this can happen during the design process, but in the interest of time and cost we've decided to proceed with this run after receiving Mint's approval.

Think about it this way, your aiboo footwear will be one degree of separation from Tinky Winky. Bragging rights(?)

🟢Lap Blanket - OK

These are being sourced from long-term partners in Japan (from before we started Setsuna) who have done this many times before, so we should be ready to ship these by February.

🟢Acrylic Standees - OK

No pictures because we didn't open the boxes yet, but we actually have them in the office now. For fairness' sake we are sticking to our promise of shipping out bundle preorders first, so these will still be shipped out later.

🟡T-Shirt - Minor delay likely

Unfortunately, we may only be able to ship these out in February. The specialty apparel vendor we opted to work with ran out of the shirt that we planned with them for sizing, and that shirt is out of stock!

They offered to switch to a different shirt to keep things on schedule, but we made the call to eat the possible delay instead of having each and every one of you manually adjust your sizing. Thanks for your understanding!

For future drops, we'll try our best to have prototypes and product images available by the pre-order period. Special circumstances for Mint's birthday made that impossible this time, hence the differences from design sketch to final product on the slippers. We really appreciate your support, and we'll strive to make sure that kind of thing doesn't happen again. Here's to an exciting 2026!
