We're back from 3 different conventions and a big, big update on why it feels like we haven't done much to remedy the delays.

tl;dr - a much-delayed new office.

The meta-update: the new office, weekly shipment volume updates until it's done

Over the last year, we identified 3 limiting factors on fulfillment - physical space, post office capacity, and inconsistent labor availability. We've stated these factors in previous updates, but they've only just now progressed to a point where we can confidently say that they'll be addressed:

1. We are moving to a 2x bigger office space this week. Our moving plans have been delayed for several months due to reasons out of our control, and it's caused a cascading series of issues, namely the 2 below!
2. The post office really started to hate the amount of packages we dropped off - this is because they couldn't schedule a pickup at the address with a mail truck. Our new address is now suitable for pickups of hundreds of packages per day, and we'll now be able to coordinate with the various carriers as a result.
3. Due to the above 2 concerns, not many people could help us fulfill orders at once. People were available, but we couldn't call in many at any particular time.

We at Setsuna Production never intend to make promises we cannot meet, and in general we believe that assuaging you with thin promises is disrespectful. We have been deliberately light on communicating solutions thus far because we have been careful not to overpromise - so now that we've actually signed a lease... we'll be making sure we are held accountable.

Beginning around the end of the move and until the fulfillment backlog is cleared, we will be tweeting how many orders we're fulfilling on a weekly basis.

Mint's Spooky Haunting Declaration - 30 pallets of plushies came too soon 🟡

Thousands of 40cm plushies arrived the day before Offkai Expo, so we had to scramble to buy a 10x25 storage unit and shove everything inside before driving up to San Jose! Here's a picture of everything after we got back  - we briefly stashed some other stuff in front, between the pallets.

We plan to start moving all of these into the office this week! Depending on our move-in progress, we should be able to start fulfilling more plushie orders this week too.

And if you're curious - we did try to fulfill some orders at the storage unit. It's honestly both a slow and godawful experience for everyone involved.

Spring Situation - insufficient replacements 🟡

The manufacturer shipped us about half of the replacements we've ordered - so we're waiting for those to get stateside. We're still on track to ship in October!

ashes - awaiting information 🟡

We received all items for fulfillment of ashes' debut merchandise at Offkai Expo, but are awaiting some more fulfillment information before we're able to ship.

Ayamy Preorders - resuming after the move 🟡

The people who would have shipped these had to pivot to solving some last-minute logistics issues for Ayamy's Offkai Expo appearance in July, so we made no progress on your orders. Sorry about that!

Densetsu.EXE Debut - in progress 🟢

Virtual Maid Invasion - in progress 🟢

Nothing particular to note here! Preorders for these two will continue shipping.

(p.s. the preorder periods for the Victoria Roman Summer Festival Outfit Celebration 
and Takamura Takako Summer Outfit haven't ended yet, so no updates on those!)
